Unanswered: How can I see DB2 on Linux, Windows & Solaris fromone Controld Center?
I have windows Vista and DB2 on my laptop. In addition, I installed VMware with multiple OS (linux, Windows server 2003, Solaris and each have an instance of DB2). I want to be able to all instances of DB2 from the DB2 control center on my Host Vista environment.
How can I do this? I remember vaguely that all I need to do is catalog those instances on the Vista, right? Problem I fear is that I don't know how to get the correct IP address for the VM machines (3) that I have defined on my laptop.
Coulds someone walk me through what I need to do to accomplish my objective of seeing all instances from one control center
ipconfig should indicate the ip address
from cc catalog each server/instance/db with this info

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
