Unanswered: Access '07 forms always maximizing

I work in '03 a good amount but am working in '07 for the first time and it's for a class assignment this time. All we have t do is write some forms to show the interface we would use for some hypothetical system. I'm having one problem, every form is opening maximized. In '03 I would just turn off Auto resize and turn on Auto center and turn on pop up. I'm doing the exact same thing and they are all filling the screen. What am I missing? thanks.

I'm going to guess that this is one that I have run into that is really hard to find a solution for online. I've even put the solution on my site to try to help people with this one

It's a new option in 2007 that you may not be aware of.

In Access Options, Current Database, under Document Window Options, select Overlapping Windows.

    And all around nice guy!

That's it, thanks. I wonder why they tucked that away like that.

Same reason they do a lot of things it seems... to really annoy anyone who is already familiar with Access
