    Unanswered: How do i know database size?

    Hi,


    Can you help me to write sql script to know the datbase use size?

    I tried this:
    USE MyDb
    GO
    SELECT [name],[Size], [filename] FROM sysfiles

    When i checked MyDb properties i found the different.
    (Execut the above script and go to your :
    D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data
    Select the MyDb and R-Click and Properties you will see the different size of MyDb

    sp_helpdb. google it.

    I have list database size only....sp_helpdb list db size + log size.

    (size * 8)/1024
