    What is Instance Parameters like Memory Size, Sort Area Size

    1. How show the values of the set parameters of Instance Memory Size, Sort Area Size.

    2. The values as given in step 1 should be for OLTP.

    3. create a database for OLTP.

    Should the size be given at the die level (on the chip) or the board level (as assembled)? One would be measured in nano-meters, the other in centimeters (obviously radically different values, due to the change in perspective).

    I'm not familiar with the OLTP brand. I'm assuming that they are some kind of remarketer.

    There are not precise equivalents for these items in SQL Server. Memory is not (usually) managed at such a granular level in SQL (although there are some things that you can do). Check out Inside SQL Server (Delaney, et al, Solid Quality Learning).
