    Unanswered: Stored Procedure - Error

    Hi ,

    We are getting the below error while compiling the stored procedure;

    DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
    valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
    SQL0035N The file "Precompilation/Compilation error" cannot be opened.

    db2 registry variables are set properly and also the permissions seems to be fine. (db2v7.1FP5 and oslevel- 4.2) - the same is working fine in another instance of the same server.

    Any suggestion for the above.

    Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards

    I am not sure which OS you are using, but for DB2 LUW V7, you need to have a C compiler installed as all SPs are converted to C code. Later versions remove this restriction.

    V7 went out of support several years ago and V8 will be out of support in a few months. You should strongly think about upgrading now.

    Not to mention that FP5 is even older.
