Unanswered: Help needed with Data Model

Hi, I have a problem with a database that I am working on and would like to ask for assistance.

I am trying to set up a database to hold the records of exam candidates. The candidate may need to take more than one exam and any examination may have more than one paper. The papers are all set for a specific data and time at a single examination center.

I have set up 4 tables, Exam Center, Exams, Candidate and Timetable but I seem to be tying myself up in knots and can not get a sensible relationship to the candidate.

I think the data looks normalised but that may be the real problem. Please see the attachment.

    I would welcome any assistance.

First, get rid of the timetable table, just put the date in the exams table. Then relate your exams to candidates with a M:M relationship.
