    Unanswered: Mysqlimport help

    Trying to import data into a table on my local Windows machine, but Im having trouble with the mysqlimport command. I have been able use the 'Load Data Infile' command w/out issue.

    My problem is I enter the below command at the mysql> prompt and it continues to prompt me for something else when I enter the below command and returns a 1064 error. Any thoughts on what I am missing?

    -> mysqlimport --LOCAL anns_db 'C:\\Program Files\\MySQL\\MySQL Server 5.0\\bin\\location.txt';

    ERROR 1064 (42000): You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your

    you don't run mysqlimport (or mysqldump) at the mysql prompt. you run it from a DOS shell.
