    Unanswered: increase the tablespace in db2

    Hi,

    We are using db2 database.some tablespace filled 99%.Can U tell me how to increase the size of the tablespace.

    If you are using automatic storage, then DB2 will automatically increase the size when needed (and they will usually stay at 99%). Just make sure there is enough free space on the mount point where the database resides.

    what are the tablespaces managed by?
    you can see the type by these command

    db2 connect to dbname
    db2 list tablespaces show detail

    Hi,

    I checked the list of tablespace.some table space reaches 99.8 percentage.

    how to increase?

    How to pull the db2diag file in db2.

    You don't need the db2diag.log file for this issue. You need to go back and read my post and try to understand what I already told you. You can google "db2 automatic storage" for more info.
