    Unanswered: Access Help Needed

    Hello,

I am trying to limit characters in one of my Access query fields. For example I have a series of records ranging from numbers like this: 231, 179, 888, 4545, 8131, 72040, 82523. I am trying to isolate only those records that are three characters in length. I do not want the first or last three characters of the field as this would not be accurate. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Any help is much appreciated thank you.

or consider using the string manipulation functions such as mid$
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
