Post Unanswered: Active Directory connection problems

Everytime I run this remotely and locally:
    SELECT *
    FROM OpenQuery(ADSI,
'SELECT title, displayName, sAMAccountName, givenName, telephoneNumber, facsimileTelephoneNumber, sn
FROM ''LDAP://DC=Domainname,DC=COM'' where objectClass = ''User''')

    I get this error:
An error occurred while preparing a query for execution against OLE DB provider 'ADSDSOObject'.
OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'ADSDSOObject' ICommandPrepare::Prepare returned 0x80040e14].

My goal is to manage page access via Coldfusion. I am stumped and every solution I've seen is the same but, I get the same results; crap. I really need to import my AD into SQL 2000.

Thanks for any help in advance,

    Khalif

    Hi

It seems that the following thread webpage has quite some useful information for you: Create a SQL Server View of your AD Users - Brendan Tompkins [MVP]
    Ole Kristian Velstadbråten Bangås - Virinco - MSSQL.no - Facebook - Twitter

    Thanks

Thanks ROAC. I had read that blog; however, I did not read far enough. Now I should be able to get users for Coldfusion authentication.
