    Unanswered: Help Needed - DBMail

    Hi,

Has anyone had experience with DBMail?

I can't seem to get it to send mail from a stored procedure using msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail. I have set up an account using a network login as a user with Windows Authentication.

Using the DBMail account I can send a test e-mail, but when I try it through a stored procedure nothing happens.

I get no errors, but when I check the Log it only shows the details for the test e-mail that it succesfully sent, but no details for the stored procedure.

It appears the stored procedure doesn't send the e-mail out to the exchange server, since there is no mention of the DBMail process starting or stopping.

Anyone know how I can get it working?

    Thanks

    Thanks guys,

I'm such a numpty, I've just delved into the procedure a bit further and found that the data for one of the tables doesn't exist, so no wonder it didn't work, as I use some data in the message.

I suppose I'll now go and get behind my rock again.
