    Unanswered: how to save top records into table?

    How do you update your table with values from TOP N when you already have some fields saved in your table? I mean I created a query on how to get the TOP 3 most called numbers with count functions. I had my subform on my main form showing the results of that query. How do I save those 3 called number to my Tab_summary?

    Please I really need your help.

    Thanks.

    use the append Query

    INSERT INTO Tab_summary ( fieldname1, fieldname2, fieldname3 )
    SELECT [TOP 3].f1, [TOP 3].f2, [TOP 3].f3
    FROM [TOP 3];
    hope this help
