Unanswered: Inserting Values from forms to a table

    I have 3 tables
    table1, table2 and table3

    table1 columns:
    Item
    Source
    Date
    Lessons
    Rec
Process Category (this is from table2)(ProcessName)
Sub Activity (this is from table3)(ActivityName)

    table2 columns:
    ProcessID
    ProcessName

    table3 columns:
    ActivityID
    ActivityName

    I have designed a form for table1:
I need like: if i click on ADD button,
1st column should automatically display a value [max(item)+1]
next 4 columns should be empty
    and 5th column should be a combo(displayed from table2)
    and 6th column should be a combo(displayed from table3)

when i click submit button the values in the above boxes must be added to the table1

    How to do this?

    Thanks

Wow, where to start. How about you post what code you've got already. Otherwise, all I've got are two words: "UPDATE QUERY".

    Or "Bound Form".

Are there relationships defined between the three tables?
