Unanswered: data in one field depends on another field.

    Hello guys,
    I am having table "A"
i want data in one of the columns in that table to depend on data from another column in that same table.
eg. if table A has columns 1 and 2
i want data in 2 to depend on what is filled in column 1.

Also is it possible to have this done after having the table already filled with data?
i'm increasing column 2 now after data is already there..

    thanks

In what way? You could make a calculated field in a query to do the job, but it's hard to know what the right course of action is because you have not told us how the columns effect one another.
