    Hello to everybody!

My name is Giuseppe, I'm 27 years old and I'm from Italy.

I've been working as a programmer for some years now, in particular I got enthusiast about web (LAMP) development.
Now, in my spare time, I'm working on an ambitious personal project of developing a multiplayer online game playable via browser (see The PBBG Project for a better explanation)

Often, most of the trouble in the development comes from database-related issues.
I had a detailed ER chart that took weeks to develop, and I tought it was quite precise and exhaustive... until I started coding and faced all the limitations of my modeling abilities

So here I am. I have already posted a question in the DB Design subforum and got almost instantly a good piece of advice from mike_bike_kite ... great start!

    Hi, ER stands for Entity-Relationship.
It is a modeling language, used to represent data. It is very useful because it is half the way between real life notions and database logic. Entity-relationship model - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
