    Unanswered: i could not find the create database options

    Hello,
    i am new to SQL Server ,
    i installed SQL server 2005,it showing
    Configuration Tool
    |_________________>SQL Server Configuration Manager
    |_________________>SQL Server Error and Uages Reporting
    |_________________>SQL Server Surface Area Configuration
    |_________________>Reporting Services Configuration

    only

    here i could not find the create database options and so..
    could anyone help me out.... !!

    You need to install the management tools. Either that, or use the commandline tool SQLCMD.

    i get in to SQL Server Configuration Manager
    am getting SQL Server 2005 Service,

    here i couldnot get Management studio
    help me !!

    what error u r getting ?

    Goto SQL server configuration manager and check whether the SQL server service is up and running

    You can not create a database with the Configuration Manager. You need to install the management tools.
