Unanswered: Linked Table error from access 2003 to SQL Server 2005 database

I recently started a new job as a dba and was asked to compile a 2003 Access mdb file into a new mde file and to copy the new mde over the old user mde file via a dos cmd prompt. Since then certain users are having problems viewing certain linked sql tables. They can view some of the sql tables in the ODBC database but not all of them. The error messag is "ODBC-call failed. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]SELECT permission denied on object 'table', database 'db name', onwer 'dbo'.(#229)". I have reconnected the ODBC database so they match me (using Window NT authentication) and re-linked the sql tables but they still can not view these tables. I am not having any problems viewing these tables. Any suggestions?

Check the security settings on the SQL Server for those tables?
