    Unanswered: Error: ORA-01747

    Dear All

    I 'm facing problem at saving time the following error:

    Code:
    ORA-01747: invalid user.table.column, table.column, or column specification
    When I insert record using SQL it works, but when using Forms DS 9i it generates the error. Can any one figure out the problem?

    Did you connect to the same schema while working in Forms (as you did in SQL*Plus)?

    A typo problem, perhaps?

    yes

    the same schema is used. It works in SQL Plus when inserting selected columns but unable to insert when select all columns.

    How do you insert these records into a table? Do you use an INSERT INTO statement, or do you simply populate form items and press "Commit"? Because, perhaps one (or more) form's item is set to be a "Database column", but it is not.

    yes

    I just populate forms items and press "save" button. all related items are set to database items. some items are set to display items ansd set to them as database item=no.

    I use following statement in SQL Developer as
    insert into survey_inputs
    values('abc','abc',4124590000,123,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1, 1,1,1,1,'123','23445',null,null);
    and found no errors and record inserted.

    but when using form I got error.
