Unanswered: Execute different SQL scripts in Parallel

    Hi,

I've 10 SQL script files (*.sql) that each contain several sql scripts. I want to execute each sql script file (*.sql) all at once or in parallel mode. How do I do this?

Can this be done in TOAD and how?

    Thanks,

What do you mean with "all at once or in parallel".
Do you want to execute them as one script or in parallel (i.e. starting each script individually)?

If you want to execute them in parallel you can do something like this:
    Code:
    start user/password@db @script_1.sql > log_1.log
    start user/password@db @script_2.sql > log_2.log
    ...
I assume you are on Windows as you are talking about Toad.

Or, rewrite these SQL files into stored procedures and submit them as jobs.
