Unanswered: insert object now also displays the file name

I have been inserting objects in bmp format without any problem for years.
All of a sudden when I insert a .bmp file, the box displays a low
quality/pixelated photo AND the file name really large.

I think then, it must come down to what you are putting into it? Have you tried various file types and experimented with results? Where are your bitmaps coming from? Was the source of them changed?

Can you identify what has changed recently. If you have been doing it for years and all of a sudden it stops working, something must have changed.
