    Unanswered: HADR failed

    Hello,

    DB2 V8 FP12

Due to the power failure the STANDBY server was effected. We powered up the server then Activate the database.

By checking the HADR on STANDBY SERVER via control centre,
on the top of the screen there is message saying Attention: THE PARTNER DATABASE IS NOT CATALOGED.

How can I cataloged this please?

The db2pd -db xxxxx -hadr is not showing any of this.

    Thanks, Dgunas

    could you try these steps:

    1)Stop hadr

    2)Start hadr

3)Monitor the diaglog to note any errors

This will help you identify as to why the hadr is not starting

execute some commands as get db cfg for dbname to see if all settings are still correct for hadr
list node directory - list db directory...

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
