Unanswered: Report leaves a blank line

I have a report that has duplicate fields that I don't want shown. Making these duplicated field "not visible" is fine - however when I view the report there are extra blank lines where the duplicated fields would have been. Is there some code or a property field I have missed that would stop these blank lines appearing.

Below is how I would like the report to print (no blank line between each dog entrant)
    - on the attached .txt is how it actually prints. (a blank line between dog entrant)

    Class 2a Minor Puppy Bitch
    2 A Berry's DUNNWARREN ITS A SECRET
    Br: Exh 10/2/08
S: Gr Ch Balkana Two Thumbs Up D: Dunnwarren Crystal Gems
    3 F Bickerdike's DUNNWARREN SECRET LOVER
    Br: A Berry 10/2/08
S: Gr Ch Balkana Two Thumbs Up D: Dunnwarren Crystal Gems

Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS. I'm not very good with VB code so please explain in plain English.

    thank, Kim

How did you remove the blank lines of duplicates? Did you do this in the query by setting it to unique values?

Also, check the Can Grow, Can Shrink properties for each of the fields.

In the report design I changed the properties of the text box i didn't want duplicated and marked "Yes" to Hide Duplicates.
