    Unanswered: Blocking edits after approval

    I have a form with an approval field. I need to lock the form so it can not be edited once it has been approved. I am clueless. The few things I have tried don't work and I don't think I am on the right track. Can someone help?

    Thanks

    There actually is a property for forms called AllowEdits that might be of use to you.
    Me.Geek = True

    you will need to put the Code into the ONcurrent Event

    them If approval feild Ture then allowedit = False

    So

    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Current()

    If Me.approval = True Then
    Me.AllowEdits = False
    End If
    '
    '
    'Or
    'Me.AllowEdits = Not Me.approval

    End Sub
    hope this help

    See clear as mud
