    Unanswered: I am saving my code to a table and need to format carrige returns

    Im ROCKIN! the questions today! Thanks so much for the help guys!

    i am inserting into tblcode into colm code something like


    'SELECT *
    FROM myTable
    WHERE myCol = MyValue
    ORDER BY myCol'


    how can i preserve the line breaks??

    It's not preserving the line breaks?
    Give us the DDL for your table, and the exact INSERT statement you are using.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

    my bad,, When i select it into a variable and print it is keeping the formating.

    If I remember, the grid view silently replaces new line characters in the output, but the new line characters are in fact still in the data.
