Hi - I'm using an EXCEL 2007 which has ApproveIt loaded to allow for use of digital signatures. I can readily use the Approve command to enter a digital signature when the sheet is unprotected. However, when I unlock the cells (a range of merged cells) where I want the signture placed and then I protect the sheet, the Approve command does not work. Is this a "shortfall" in the integration of ApproveIt and EXCEL or is there a way around this so that I can use a digital signature in an unlocked cell of a protected sheet.
Note: I believe this is possible when using PureEdge. Any help or guidance on this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks.
