Unanswered: Date in Form does not update in Table

I have a date field called "entrydate" as a Date field in a table, and also in a form. The user can type the date or use the Date Picker calendar. The form works fine but the date does not update in the table. Seems very simple, but I don't know what I might be doing wrong. Can anyone help?

What does not work? How are your form and the controls on it bound to the table?
It should work (see the attached file).

    Have a nice day!

Thanks for the help. It was my fault. I had a subroutine that wiped out the date as I entered record.
