    Question Unanswered: Export info to pre-typed template.

    Hi,
    Need some help, I have data base where users enter in information. I would like a command button to export the information they type in to a pre-typed word doc. It will fill in the feels hat was typed in by the end-user. For example. Firstname , lastname, address and ect.

    The user can’t see the database only the main screen and once this command button the data will go to an area that they can’t access again.

    The word doc is a pre-type letter. With the files in them, firstname, lastnae, address and ect.
    Any help will be appreciated.

    The easiest way would be to use automation (OLE2). See:

    Sounds to me like you just need to look at Mail Merge.

    Or you need to take Word out of the picture and use Access reports.
