Unanswered: Wizard in Forms all of a sudden does not activate

I had been using the wizard to, for example, add a button to a form. However, all of a suddern it has stopped working.

All my packages are up to date. I have checked and I have the latest versions, including Microsoft Jet 4.0 SP8 or later.

I had also started using macros with the form, might this had caused the wizard to stop working. If so, how do I rectify this problem so that it starts working again.

Stupid question perhaps, but you gotta start somewhere: is the wizard wand icon pressed when you create the control?

Wand is Activated but then a Dialog box opens with 3 Options

Yes, when I activate Wand a dialog box called Choos Builder opens with three option:

    Expression Builder
    Code Builder
    Macro Builder

Describe the steps you are taking. That dialog box should only appear if you hit "Build" on a property that accepts code. That isn't creating a button, that is trying to look at what the wizard would produce; the code.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Thank you for your response. After thinking through you last comments. I tried it again. But this time ensure taht the Wand was active in as part of the toolbox icon. Previoulsy, I had activated the Wand button part of Form design. Many thanks. I am extremely grateteful as I have spent a day trying to figure where I was going wrong, or what I was not doing. Many thanks again.
