    Unanswered: How long is ntext 16

    I uploaded a MSaccess database to SQL 2005

    it set the memo feilds to ntext 16 is the 10,000 char like the memo feild in msaccess??

    Broadly speaking yes. Are you using SQL 2005? If so, text and ntext is deprecated - use VARCHAR(MAX) or NVARCHAR(MAX).
