    Unanswered: preview report

    why does every time i create e report and i preview it only half page of the paper is shown? i mean the whole page is previewed but half way down is blank. i'm not yet very familiar on the controls and properties on creating a report. how can i set the report that can preview a whole page?

    I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "half way down is blank".

    Check that the report is setup as A4?

    also check the Page header and Header / footer and Page footer

    the first page alway has the Page header bit and the rest have the header page bit

    margin are a good checking point.

    thanks! but i have one problem, when you create a new report its size is not set to a letter or legal paper it is smaller. how do i adjust it to become the size of a bond paper? i tried to expand the width to 8" on its properties, the problem is the excess width is shown on the next page

    create the report Ruffly save it

    them open it again in design view
    click File=> page setup and click the Page tab you will see the paper size there
    if not and it a server printer you have to get you IT guys to create a customer paper size and them do the above step again.
