    Thumbs down Unanswered: DB2 connection error

    Hi ,

    I am trying to connect a DB2 server using JDBC .
    I am getting the following error :
    Caused by: com.ibm.db2.jcc.c.DisconnectException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException : Error opening socket to server test_db2/<IP_address> on port 60000 with message : null DB2ConnectionCorrelator: null

    at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(DriverManager .java:185)
    I checked the TCP/IP port by executing the command 'get dbm cfg' which is 60000 as specified above .

    Please suggest me hot to resolve this

    has db2comm been set
    db2set -all should indicate -after this stop-start of instance
