Lightbulb Unanswered: Problem with partitioning in the local machine.

    HI Guys,
I am working with DB2 partitioning feature in Linux 5.0 box.
First I wanted to perform partitioning in the local system.
For that I was running the following command in the console,

    Query

db2 "dbpartitionnum 1 add dbpartitionnum hostname 172.17.4.147 port 1 without tablespaces"

After running this command i am getting the following error message,

    Error

DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
SQL0104N An unexpected token "1 add dbpartitionnum hostname 172.17.4.147 por"
was found following "dbpartitionnum ". Expected tokens may include:
    "<space>". SQLSTATE=42601

    Please help me out guys,
I am not able to go ahead any single step.
I will b great-ful to any kind of help.
    Thanks IN Advance,
    Jeevan Edakkunnath Mana.

What does your db2nodes.cfg file contain?
It has to contain the partition details of the partition you are gonna use.
