    Unanswered: Mulitple Search

    Hi,

I have main form called "F_SearchPatient" with subform "SF_Patient"
Main form has 6 unbound text box named below:

TxtPName (table field name is PName)
TxtFather (table field name is PFather)
TxtGrFather (table field name is PGFather)
TxtFamName (table field name is PSurName)
    and 3-4 other unbound fields.

In fact the patient name is divided into 4 field columns in table.
The subform "SF_Patient" is based on a simple query called Q_Patient.

Show all 80,000 records once the main form opened.

I had managed searching patient in a diff way which was not liked by user and asked me do in below way.

    1. When name entered in TxtPName and TxtFather, it should requery sub form.

    2. When name entered in TxtPName and TxtGrFather, it should requery sub form.

    3. When name entered in TxtPName and TxtFamName , it should requery sub form.

    4. When name entered in TxtFather and TxtGrFather, it should requery sub form.

    Any idea?
    With kind regards,

Have a look at Allen Browne's article and see if it helps. I also keep this article bookmarked as a reference when dealing with subforms and the like.
