    Unanswered: add value to existing field in query

    hello freinds !!

    i am trying to add a value to field in a query like if i have a field called fax numbers
    were i get all the fax numbers
    123456890
    321654980
    i need something like these at the end

    123456890@xyz.com
    321654980@xyz.com

    the reason for this automation is i am trying to export all these fax numbers to outlook from access to one email id which is @xyz.com


    any solutions would be of grt help

    SELECT yourfield, yourotherfield/s, [FaxfieldName] & '@xyz.com' as strFAX FROM yourtablename;
    Windows Server 2003-8 / Terminal Services / SQL 2000 / Access 2003 / Office 2003-7 / Exchange 2003-7 / Blackberry Enterprise Server / AutoCAD / Lambert And Butler / Red Bull

    You can do this just in the query grid - Drag the fields you want from the table then click in a blank querygrid cell and type strFax: [FaxFieldName] & '@yyz.com' you might also wish to cater for null fax numbers (no data) - let me know (either by returning nothing at all or 'No Fax etc'...or maybe ignoring them by adding a WHERE clause - WHERE [FaxFieldName]>"")

    thanks for the prompt reply

    i was trying the same code in the criteria and wasnt succesfull.. didnt get a thought to even take a new field with the same criteria

    null values isnt a issue ..

    anyways thanks for the prompt response..
