    Unanswered: filtering by totalhrs

    I have a db where i am storing studentno. name, proj , nrhrs, addlhrs, totalhrs and moth where more than 1 row for some students for a particular month. now i am finding it difficult to filter by studentno where totalhrs is with is in a range (say 135 to 150 % of nrhrs)in a qry or report where i want have all rows belongs to that studentno

    Look up aggregate functions and the use of the HAVING clause in Books Online.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

    And speaking of moths, did you ever smell moth balls???? How did you hold him??? -- ba da bump - An oldie but still makes me chuckle..
