    Unanswered: iserting datetime format

HI everybody couldn't get past thru this...

MY FIELD is a datetime field and the value is with this format dd/mm/yyyy ex feb 1, 2009 01/02/2009

when i see it with a form it displays right but updating it with CREATEODBCDATE(datefield) it flips the day and the month which is now 02/01/2009. Inserting is ok but updating is the problem ..

Datetime fields do not have a "format". They are stored internally as a numerical representation of elapsed time since 1/1/1900.
So, how the date looks when it is displayed is a matter of what application you are using.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.
