    Unanswered: MS Access Connect to External DB (Other Access) with Password Protected

    HI.
    If I would like to use others Access db data (aaa.mdb) which has password protected, what should i add in?

    select * from tblA IN 'C:\aaa.mdb'

    If you have the password you can do it with VBA....

    Hmm.... I've never done it with a database that has a password, but I use the OpenDatabase method to open external databases. You might have to set a connection string to it.

    I suggest you check out the help on OpenDatabase and try a connection string for Access, such as you might find here.
