    Unanswered: 'oradim' is not recognized

    Hi,

I am trying to start instance of service, but when I execute the command:
oradim -startup -sid ORCL92 -usrpwd manager -starttype SRVC,INST -pfile C:\oracle9i\admin\ORCL92\pfile\init.ora

'oradim' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.
    ..

    Could you please help me?

    Thanks.
    Amar.

Sounds like the Oracle "bin" directory is not in your system path

    That explains the error message.

Sounds like you have a client installation, not a server installation.
