    Unanswered: Please Help with DlookUp

    I have form that is based on table I also have field to look up product name from another table =DlookUp("ProdName","TblProducts","ProdName= & nz([ProdNum],0)). What is happening sometimes with same product I'm geeting the name and sometimes it is coming back blank

    coming up blank is impossible if you use the DLookup function, at least it will return zero.

    Shouldn't that be =DlookUp("ProdName","TblProducts","ProdNum = " & nz([ProdNum],0))

    Are you thinking about DCount there Sinndho? I seem to remember having nulls or zero length strings (aka blanks) coming back from DLookups.
