    Unanswered: DB2 DBA 731 certification

    Hi

    I am planning to take 731 certification can I take this without writing 730 moreover I have udb 512 v7.1 family fundamentals.Can anyone suggest on this pls.

    If you have the V8 DBA certification, you can take an upgrade test only. That is not applicable for V7, however. So you have to take the standard V9 test (i.e. 731).

    730 is a prereq for 731. So you can take 731 if you like, but you won't get the certificate unless you also have passed 730.

    ...or you can take 701 for v8 and then v9 upgrade (which is my plan )
