    Denormalized Relational Diagrams

Can anyone tell me what a denormalized relational diagram is...

I know what a denormalized table is and how to normalize it etc. but I have no idea what this diagram looks like.

    Thanks.

A lot depends on what you've covered in class so far. This is not a standard term, so my guess is that the answer depends on your instructor and how they've explained things in class.

In theory, theory and practice are identical. In practice, theory and practice are unrelated.

Well yes, that is part of the problem, she does not speak English very well so sometimes she mixes up her words.

In our course pack it said:
    1) ERD to relational diagram
    2) Denormalization

But there are no completed examples so I am just very confused.

Me too. Without more information I don't know how to help you.

Denormalization is the process of redesigning a relational database schema by introducing extra join dependencies (known also as functional dependencies and multi-valued dependencies) into it. If you don't know what I mean by that then ask your instructor.
