Hi guys, just another engineering student looking for help.

The thing is, I'm actually on a small project for university in which my team is part of a beer production company divided by 4 departments: Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and Production. I'm workin on the production part and the goal is to build a small working database that can handle production costs and production orders sent by the sales department.

The thing is I'm having problems designing the UML/relational model part that handles the production orders. My question is, has anyone done a something alike?

Bear in mind that this is only a small project in which a 30 % proximity with a real DB implementation on a factory setting is way more than satisfactory the goal is to have some knowledge about DB's, not to become expert.
