    Unanswered: lookup fields

My database uses many lookup fields for data entry to avoid user error. This is necessary for the queries to run without error, as well as for consistency in data entry. For example, first vs 1st. The database considers these to be 2 different criteria, causing problems. All of my queries run. My form controls have lovely drop down menues that work. The problem arises in locked forms and reports. Fields that are based on a lookup field show the ID, not the value it represents. How do I get these fields to show the value?

Add the value to the combo box and set the first column width for it to zero.

My apologies, I didn't explain myself very well. The forms display the value in the list. The problem arises when that value is used as criteria for a query. The resulting form or report displays the PK, not the value. This is where the confusion is stemming from. Is there a way to change this?

I'm hoping your look values are based on tables not the infamous lookup wizard.......
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

All lookup fields were created using the Lookup Wizard, but are based on tables. Am I going to have to change all my lookup fields? If so, how?
