    Unanswered: Here is the invalid character that got me...

    Hi,

    I had a procedure that compiled but would not wrap and kept getting this helpful message:

    PSU(111,1,64,7):end-of-file in comment
    PSU(103,1,64,7):Encountered the symbol "end-of-file" when expecting one of the following:

    begin function package pragma procedure subtype type use
    <an identifier> <a double-quoted delimited-identifier> form
    current cursor external language

    PL/SQL Wrapper error: Compilation error(s) for:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE "PRC_EXTERNAL_USER_SETUP"
    Outputting source and continuing.

    My error was corrected by searching for invalid text in a comment within the procedure.

    Here is what was INVALID:

    /*

    Run the whole PRC by doing this in a command window:

    begin
    PRC_EXTERNAL_USER_SETUP(0,0,0,0);
    end ;
    /

    */

    Here is what was VALID:

    /*

    Run the whole PRC by doing this in a command window:

    begin
    PRC_EXTERNAL_USER_SETUP(0,0,0,0);
    end ;

    */

    Apparently having a / inside of a large comment block confuses the wrap utility.

    HTH,

    Kennon

    Hmmm.

    You have an oracle problem, but you reply to a 6 year old ansi sql thread?

    Probably stand a better chance of getting an answer here in the Oracle forum, eh?
