Unanswered: Help with booking resource database

    Hi,
I am new to this forum.
    I want to ask a question --
i am in a bit confusion in designing a database for booking resource database.
i want to allow a user to select a date from a calender and diaplay the availability of resources on that date.

So i am stuck in creating a database.i want to create a availability table in that, the rooms available, timings of 24 hours in that unavailable bookings and available times for book the resource should display.

can anybody help me what are the fields come for this table.

    Thanks.

Share your thoughts on what you have so far.

    When is the assignment due?

What other resources has your instructor pointed you to?

the columns (not "fields") for the booking table should include:

    - resource_id (a Foreign Key to the resources table, to identify which resource is being booked)
    - booking_start (datetime for start of resource booking)
    - booking_end (datetime for end of resource booking)

the primary key should be ( resource_id,booking_start )

the real difficulty in this assignment is not the design of the table, which is actually quite simple, but the programming of the application
