Exclamation Unanswered: Configure a SCO machine to allow ODBC

I have an SCO machine with an Informix 7 database. I wanna access the database using an ODBC but I don't know what I have to do. I have an ODBC driver for informix (Informix setnet32) but I can't find the information it requires to do the connection (or I'm not sure if the information I have is correct, I want to know how to check it). I need server name, host name, database name, the service that is configured to be used, and the protocol. Besides, I read that I had to do some configuration changes, what are these changes?

Please help me, I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks.

Do you have an access to the SCO server?

Configure a SCO machine to allow ODBC

Thank you for replying. I have access to the SCO server but I don't know what to configure in order to make the ODBC work.

    Thank you so much.

If you haven an access, go to the installation directory of the informix server and set environment variable INFORMIXDIR.
    for example:
if your installation directory is: /usr/informix
    then set INFORMIXDIR to '/usr/informix'
Then go to the bin directory (subdirectory of the INFORMIXDIR) and run 'onstat -g dis'.
You should get information like servername , and location of files with other necessary information.
