    What is your question?

    How would an independent observer know/conclude the correct/desired answer has been provided?
    You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
    The average person thinks he's above average!
    For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
    Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

    Thanks for the reply. I need your assitance to create an RMAN level 1 script based on the persistent config setting i posted.

    Can you provide me RMan level 1 script based on this persistent config setting below:

    To see what the channel allocations for D02 are, you need to look at the current persistent config settings.

    RMAN> show all;

    RMAN configuration parameters are:
    CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 45 DAYS;
    CONFIGURE BACKUP OPTIMIZATION OFF; # default
    CONFIGURE DEFAULT DEVICE TYPE TO 'SBT_TAPE';
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP OFF;
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '/oracle/D02/rman/%F';
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE SBT_TAPE TO '%F'; # default
    CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE 'SBT_TAPE' BACKUP TYPE TO BACKUPSET PARALLELISM 4;
    CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE DISK PARALLELISM 1 BACKUP TYPE TO BACKUPSET; # default
    CONFIGURE DATAFILE BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE SBT_TAPE TO 1; # default
    CONFIGURE DATAFILE BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1; # default
    CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE 'SBT_TAPE' TO 1;
    CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1; # default
    CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE 'SBT_TAPE' MAXOPENFILES 1 PARMS 'BLKSIZE=1048576,ENV=(NSR_CLIENT=dbsd02,NSR_SERVER =aesnsr,NSR_MMDB_RETRY_TIME=30,NSR_DATA_VOLUME_POO L=aesdevrman)';
    CONFIGURE MAXSETSIZE TO UNLIMITED; # default
    CONFIGURE ENCRYPTION FOR DATABASE OFF; # default
    CONFIGURE ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM 'AES128'; # default
    CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO NONE; # default
    CONFIGURE SNAPSHOT CONTROLFILE NAME TO '/oracle/D02/102_64/dbs/snapcf_D02.f'; # default

    Cool What???

    Maybe you need to begin by actually reading the fine Oracle® Database Backup and Recovery Basics manual and stating your requirement.
