    Unanswered: prototyping?

"What do you use for GUI prototyping? I need a tool that's can print the sketches and is simple to use.
I tried Visio but it doesn't quite cut it."

GUI design has nothing to do with database design or SQL or anything else related to SQL Server that I can think of. Why should it?

I've always done my storyboarding and GUI design with a pencil and graph paper. And yes, I think SQL Server people are too good to need GUI prototypes! ;-)

In theory, theory and practice are identical. In practice, theory and practice are unrelated.

Powerpoint. Seriously. I also used it to design the deck I built behind my house.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

I use Visio for my GUI prototypes - there are templates for dialogs, command buttons, close buttons etc.... works well for me.
