    Unanswered: Easy (I hope!) question

    Hi,

I did try searching the forum but didn't find what I needed (or didn't know the specific search phrase). I am making a projects database using Access 2007 and I’ve come up against an obstacle. I need my database to store which members of my staff have been involved on a certain project. There could be one staff member on some projects, others will have the involvement of more. Is there a way I can insert a box onto my form whereby the user entering data will be able to select the members of staff appropriate from a pre-defined drop-down list and then store this within the database?

    Warm regards

Hi there, this is how I would do it, please see attached db, on the course form the re is a staff drop down, I think this is what you mean.

look at the design of the course table in design view, go to the staff field / lookup, there you will see my sql join to the staff table.

    hope this helps

Many thanks Mark - that was most helpful! Is there a way I could select mutiple members of staff from the list?

It's alright - I found the option for allowing multiple values!

    Thanks again.
