Unanswered: Unable to Install Workstation components in SQL 2005

I am trying to install SQL 2005 on a server with Windows Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise Edition. The scan says that all pre requisites are OK. I chose to install only the Database and the workstation options. Everything installs fine except for

Visual studio integrated development environment 2005
Workstation Components, Books online and Development tools.

For both, it gives the error -" Setup failed. Refer to the setup log for details."

However, in the summary file, I cannot see any segment that has install failed.

I need to set up SQL server 2005 urgently to proceed with our Project and any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you a local admin on your machine?
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

Yes. I am the local administrator of my machine.

I am happy to say that I have managed to resolve this. I copied the installation DVD to the hard drive. I then uninstalled SQL 2005 and manually deleted the installation folders.

I then installed the workstation components first and then installed the database. I now have the SQL 2005 management studio and also the database installed.

    Thanks anyway.
